Sharp X68000 MDX chiptunes - MDX arrangements
Il synth FM (Frequency Modulation synthesis) è alla base dell’hardware audio in dotazione all'home/personal computer Sharp X68000 (formato audio emulato: MDX - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X68000%27s_MDX -), 16 bit più comunemente conosciuto nel solo mercato giapponese come X68K (1987 -primo modello-) e, in sostanza, l’"equivalente orientale potenziato" del Commodore Amiga.
L’X68K utilizza gli 8 canali FM stereo del chip audio Yamaha YM2151 e il processore OKI MSN6258V per l’audio campionato ADPCM
