Floppy Bird 1K for Atari 8-bit
March 05, 2014 - "German developer Frederik Holst has surprised us all with a version of Flappy Bird for the Atari 8-bit computers. There have been a number of homebrew versions of the addictive mobile game now but this version is a bit different because it uses just 1k of memory! This is a real achievement but also shows just how bloated many new games are."
"Holst was encouraged to make this A8 conversion after learning about Flappo Bird, a port of the same game for the Atari 2600 console. He started it around mid-February and it took him about 20 hours to code in 100% assembler language. He has released the game for free to play on real hardware via a flash device or your favourite emulator!"
